GRATIN DAUPHINOIS WITH PORCINI MUSHROOM CREAM
PREPARATION
- Preheat the oven to 220C°.
- Cook the peeled potatoes in boiling water. Meanwhile, combine the milk and butter in a bowl.
- In a buttered baking dish, place half the potatoes cut into thin slices.
- Spread half the porcini mushroom cream on the potatoes.
- Add a second layer with the remaining potatoes.
- Spread the remaining porcini mushroom cream on the second layer. Finish by pouring the mixture from the bowl to cover the preparation.
- Sprinkle the grated cheese on top and season with salt and pepper as desired.
- Bake for 45 minutes until potatoes are visibly toasted.
